oops!

Sorry it has been a little while since we have had an update, but really there hasn't been too much going on around here these days.

Last week it was starting to get nice out and Madelyn really wanted to play outside so we made a trip to Zellers and got ourselves a slide and some bubbles. It was still a little chilly the day we put it together, but we still had lots of fun! She wanted to go up and down the slide for about an hour straight.. haha.

Thankfully the weekend was amazingly nice and we were able to play outside quite a lot. Poor daddy had to spend the morning picking up bags of dog poop.... Saturday afternoon it was so warm out (+14) that I was wearing shorts and then by the evening it was snowing and overnight we got 15 cm of snow!! It has continued to be gross out now, which is just mean.

Friday night we went to a Calgary Flames game and Maddy sat and enjoyed the whole thing - what a good girl! Saturday night I went over to a new friends house and hung out with a few girls and it was really nice.

Maddy and I have also had two play dates this week and she has had lots of fun meeting new kids, although she doesn't like the babies her age - she likes older kids! And she is just growing like a weed. I measured her the other day and she has grown 5 cm since the middle of December! She is also talking LOTS now. She says "diapa", "Dora", "is" when you ask her where something is and she finds it - she says "IS!". so cute. She also rubs her hands together when she is done eating to let us know, as well as puts her hands to her mouth to tell us she is hungry.

This spring is going to be really busy for us. She is enrolled in some educational classes, playgroups and swimming lessons.

Josh is going to Pittsburgh for a week on business so Maddy and I are taking another trip to Medicine Hat tomorrow for a few days. We love to road trip together! haha.

We also wanted to say how sorry we are to Mike, Josie and Mikka who had to put their dog Snoopy down after having him for 11 years... so sad.

She loves to watch "Into The Night Garden"
