general catch up

So my first week of work went really well. i love it there already. The girls I work with are absolutely wonderful and the doctors are great. The only downfall has been the drive. Since the snowstorms it has taken me almost an hour and a half in the morning to get maddy to daycare and then get to work. yikes. and then after work to get her and get home has been even longer. The other night I stayed late at work for a CPR course and it took me over 2 hours to get home. Oh well, it is worth it if it is a job I like - which i do!

Josh's plant is almost completely up and running now - all three turbines. It has been a rough go - we sure haven't seen daddy very much in the last month and a half - but thankfully it should be done soon!!

Josh's mom Linda has been in the hospital for a week. She went in because she felt weak and dizzy and it turned out she didn't have any iron in her body and therefore needed some blood transfusions. They thought perhaps she had a bleeding stomach ulcer that was causing the blood loss but now they aren't so sure. Good news is that as of this morning her blood count is way back up and she feels a lot better. They are waiting for certain results to see what they need to do next- maybe surgery. We are thinking of you every minute Mo!!

I am extremely excited that we are going to Prince Albert to spend christmas with my family this year!! YAY!! We will be going to Medicine Hat for christmas eve, then driving to PA early Christmas morning and staying until the 28th - then back to Med Hat for News Years and then home for a couple of days before returning back to work. Turns out that both of our companies take the week of Christmas off!! Sweet!

Josh and I are going with Mike and Josie to Vegas in January - absolutely cannot wait!!

Another huge announcement, which I think is okay to finally announce, is that Nathan and Hailey are having another baby!!! YAY!!! Stan and Linda are going from 2 grandchildren to 4 in a year!! haha. Last I heard Hailey was feeling great. And Laura is doing great too - she has a baby belly now and looks oh so cute.

Maddy is doing wonderfully. She still loves daycare and comes home with tons of stories about her friends. She talks a mile a minute and loves to sing and dance. She is telling everyone "Merry MISMAS!" now - so funny. She loves the Christmas lights and so I try and take her for a walk or drive everynight around the neighborhood. Poor thing is not feeling so good today, so we are spending the day cuddling and watching movies.

Hope everyone has a great holiday season!!!
